SUGGESTED ANCHORING SPOTS IN TURKEY

HAMAM BAY (CLEOPATRA'S BATH), GOCEK
Hamam Bay, often referred to as 'Cleopatra's Bath', is one of the most picturesque anchorages along the Turkish coast. Found in Monastir Bay, its crystal clear waters home the semi-submerged ruins of an ancient bathhouse that legend would suggest was gifted to Queen Cleopatra as a wedding gift by Marc Anthony.

D MARIS BAY, DATCA
D Maris Bay is a little piece of paradise tucked into a beautiful bay on the Datca peninsula. Beautifully framed by pine forest and mountains, D Maris Bay boasts as an exclusive hotel, fine restaurant, and a first-class spa. The resort is aimed at the elite, so it's ideal for guests looking for a tranquil escape away from the mainstream tourist crowds.

DID YOU KNOW THAT...?

VISAS/ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR TURKEY

All guests and crew must have a passport with at least six months validity left to enter Turkey. The passport needs to be date stamped at an official Port of Entry, both on entering and departing the country. Visas requirements differ according to nationality. Some visas are free, and others vary in cost. Most tourist visas are valid for 90 days in every 180 days, and visas for longer stays can be obtained from the relevant Turkish Embassy. 360 Yachting recommend all yachts to contact them for entry assistance to avoid unnecessary hold-ups and time-consuming paperwork and bureaucracy.

HUGE SAVINGS CAN BE MADE ON DUTY-FREE FUEL IN TURKEY

Turkey is currently the only country offering tax-free fuel for private and charter yachts. Savings of up to 60% can be made by bunkering outside the EU. The 360° Yachting team are on hand to assist with all necessary paperwork and protocol and supply the yacht with premium quality duty-free fuel in many of the main ports along the coast.

VIP EXPERIENCES IN SPAIN

A FLOODLIT TOUR OF EPHESUS

Ephesus is one of the world's most significant ancient cities. Located in Izmir Province,

3 km southwest of modern-day Selçuk, it's within easy reach for those cruising the Aegean. Alternatively, a seaplane can be arranged to take guests to and from the yacht. Ephesus dates back to 6,000 BC and is an ancient Greco-Roman city that was once home to over 250,000 people. It's easy to spend an entire day exploring the site, but to experience it at dusk, when the ruins are floodlit and the site is crowd-free, is truly spectacular.

360 Yachting can arrange a professional guide to take guests on a VIP floodlit tour of Ephesus and point out all the highlights; the Great Theatre where St. Paul first preached to the Ephesians and St. John may have written his gospel, the House of the Virgin Mary, the Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian, and the Temple of Artemis, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. A trip to Ephesus at night is a magical experience and one to remember.

VIP CAPPADOCIA BALLOON SAFARI

Wake early and board a seaplane set for Cappadocia, less than an hour's flight from Gocek. Head to a land that feels a world away from the coast, where spectacular cave homes and underground cities are topped with a sky full of hot air balloons dancing above fairy chimneys.

Cappadocia is one of Turkey's most spectacular locations. The region's unusual rock formations make for Instagram-worthy photos and leave a striking impression on all that visit. 360 Yachting can arrange for guests to be taken on a private hot air balloon ride above the moonscape valley to appreciate Cappadocia at its very best. Following the balloon ride, guests can return by seaplane to the yacht or choose to take a traditional Turkish breakfast on the terrace of one of the best restaurants offering views of the valley as a backdrop. A private tour of the underground cities or Goreme open-air museum, with its many churches and monasteries, can also be arranged.
